Anam Hashim – India’s Youngest Female Stunt Rider
Just at the young age of 21, beautiful sports women Anam Hashim – India’s Youngest Female Stunt Rider is making news in the biker world. She is the youngest female stunt rider in the country as per her claims. Her achievements as sports women involve riding a scooter on the highest motorable road, the Khardung La Pass, twice. In an exclusive interview to Business Insider she tells, “A bike doesn’t know your gender,”. Breaking all stereotypes, she has proved that biking and stunts are not only for guys, the girls are here to rule.

She learnt the skills from her father who taught her how to ride a bike. He was initially a little bit skeptical about her performing stunts but now he feels proud. She came into lime light after a video of her performing ‘Christ’, which is a type of stunt went viral. After 3 glorious years of performing stunts she states that it’s been a tough ride but was fun. She adds, “I was very much fascinated by stunts and I decided to go for it on my Activa. I did a ‘Christ’ and was able to pull it off in the first go and that’s when I thought that if am able to do it on a non-gear, which is far more difficult than doing it on a motorbike, I will opt for this career,”
Anam scaled the highest motorable road twice been the only sports women in India to do so. She scaled one on her TVS scooter Zest, and another when she led a group of 10 girls.
Breaking Stereotypes
“I always had a thing for two-wheelers and used to go gaga over motorbikes and engines since childhood. During my school days, I used to get thrilled watching guys doing biking stunts on roads,” said Anam, adding “When I used to see guys doing wheelies and performing stunts, I used to think why I can’t do this? I began my research and decided to take up this sport professionally.”
She have learnt dirt biking and other forms of sports. She wishes to compete in International Stunt Riding Championships where she wants to compete with the world’s finest stunt bikers. We wish her all the best with her dreams.
