Baby on board – Giving birth to a baby on a plane 30,000 feet in the air may sound scary, but that’s exactly what happened to a pregnant woman who was travelling from Dubai to the Philippines. The entire incident was shared by a fellow passenger named Missy Berberabe Umandal on her facebook post. As per her, the women gave birth to a healthy baby girl on the Cebu Pacific Air flight after she started having labour pains and apparently now she gets free flights for life! “She could be living in the plane if she wished,” Berberabe said in the post.
It was a premature delivery, as the mother’s due delivery date was two months ahead in October. After the lady experienced sudden contractions in the flight, everyone panicked including the flight attendants and fellow passengers. A couple of nurses on board helped the woman in pain to have a successful delivery after which everyone had a sigh of relief and the baby’s first cry echoed the entire plane. “We only heard one semi-loud screech, and a few seconds later, there were tinier, cute screeches, and it was when we knew the baby was born,” her Facebook post reads. ” This is something you don’t get to see everyday. It only happens in movies, and we’re lucky to witness this miracle,” Berberabe added. Later the plane was forcefully landed in Hyderabad and both mother and Baby on board were given medical attention.
