Guaguancó – the dance of love
Slavik Kryklyvvy & Elena Khorova dance Rumba at the 2007 World Super Stars Dance Festival Latin (WSSDF2007). Their dance is the most popular kind of rumba dance called the Guaguancó, or “the dance of love.” In this form of dance the man tries to touch his partner’s thighs while she tries to avoid this happening, attempting to calm his daring advances.
